ASI DATAMYTE’s business relationship with Daimler began nearly 25 years ago. Initially QDA was implemented only in the plants in Bremen and Sindelfingen, Germany. As one of ASI DATAMYTE’s biggest customers, Daimler influenced the development of the QDA product in its early years. Over time a number of innovative software modules have been added, including support for other ASI DATAMYTE products such as the 600 Data Collector and a variety of Laser Gauges. In the final months of 2011 the decision was made to implement QDA in all Truck Powertrain areas beginning the first of this year. ASI DATAMYTE’s continuing globalization played a role in the decision and has strengthened the business relationship.
