ASI DATAMYTE, provider of leading edge quality solutions for
manufacturing, assembly and laboratory operations, announced the appointment of
Raj Chauhan as its new President and CEO.
Raj brings more than 22 years of experience in the development and implementation
of quality applications, with 4 years as the company’s Director of Engineering. Mr. Chauhan replaces Frank Voigt, ASI
DATAMYTE’s CEO since 2002, who will continue to serve as Vice President,
General Counsel and a board member.
“The outlook is very promising”, comments Chauhan. “We met the economic challenges of the past
three years with disciplined, lean practices and a redoubling of our efforts to
deliver solutions that make a difference.
We’ve demonstrated that we can consistently improve quality processes
and products while reducing costs. Of
course this stimulates efficiency and financial gains for our customers, and
has earned ASI DATAMYTE a dominant position in our markets, driving solid
growth that is gaining in momentum.”
Over the past year the company released several product
innovations that have been well received by the market. These include the company’s newest handheld
data collector, the 600, which supports connectivity to just about any type of
analog, digital or wireless device out there, as well as a long list of
software features and modules that empower manufacturers to do more with the quality
data that they collect.
