Today ASI DATAMYTE announced the general availability of its new 924 USB Multiplexer.

The 924 USB Multiplexer lets you seamlessly integrate digital gages with a personal computer running ASI DATAMYTE DataMetrics SPC and data collection software and/or GageMetrics precision gaging software. The 924 connects to the computer's USB port, includes a footswitch port, four gage ports, and supports a wide variety of gaging. As an option, in order to minimize the number of USB ports used, an external, independently-powered USB hub may be used to connect multiple 924s to a single USB port on your PC. The 924 is also fully compatible with ASI DATAMYTE InterGage Card setups. The unit draws its current from your computer's USB port, and requires no external power supply. This eliminates cabling clutter from your workspace while making it extremely easy to set up and get running.

The 924 is both FCC and CE certified. “With the 924, we wanted to allow our customers to integrate digital gages in their plants worldwide”, notes Jeff Hackel, Product Manager for the 924, “including those in Europe and in countries that adhere to the CE standard.”
